BRANDING SESSIONS FAQ

1. How Far in advance should I schedule my shoot?

Allow 1-2 weeks to book and prepare your outfits, shot list, props, and any other materials you'll need. Sessions typically run on Saturday mornings. Sessions are scheduled on a first-book, first-served basis.

2. Can I add florals or Props to my session?

Of course! I love incorporating florals. You are welcome to bring flowers or props that are sentimental to you. For extensive styling, I recommend working with the Editorial Branding Package or a stylist to ensure the quality of your session.

3. I feel awkward in front a camera, Will you help with posing?

I always believe that a photo session is a 50/50 collaboration between you and me. I will have reference images for posing during the session. It would be extra helpful if you could send me any mood boards, reference images, favorite past photos of yourself, or images from my portfolio that you like.

4. What should I wear?

As cliché as this sounds—be yourself! The most important thing is that you're comfortable, and coordinating colors a bit can't hurt either. I like to start with basics—light, black, neutral tones, and something colorful, not too graphic. I'm happy to help with outfit choices (send me an email), and I'm also happy to review your mood board or share some visual references.

5. How long does it take to get the photos?

You will receive an email with your private online gallery of proofs within one week of your session. From there, you will select your favorite images, which will then be edited and sent to you 2 weeks later. We understand that many people choose to use these photos for brand work, so we do our very best to focus on a quick turnaround.

6. When should I arrive?

In a perfect world, I'd love for you to arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time slot. Give yourself plenty of time to park and settle in before your shoot. And if you're still running late, take a deep breath, and we promise we'll make it work.

7. How Does Booking & Payment Work?

I'll work with you to finalize a shoot date and take a 50% deposit to secure your slot. After the shoot, I'll send the remaining invoice, to be settled before the delivery of your final images. If your company has a specific payout timeline, just let me know in advance.
